An awareness programme about the increasing use of technology in healthcare facilities got organised by Adileela Foundation last week at ND Tiwari Bhavan, New Delhi.
The discussion covered topics around the new age technologies including digital technology, robotic surgeries and Artificial Intelligence. The chief guest here was the health advisor and chairman of dialogue and development commission, Nimmi Rastogi.
Dr. Kalpana Nagpal Reddy as well as Dr. Arun Aggarwal shared their views on robotic surgeries and their benefits. She emphasised on the fact that such surgeries are available at nominal costs. Certain other doctors who were present at the event spoke about health issues. Dr. Kanwar discussed about lung transplant, Dr. KN Singh shared some knowledge about kidney transplant and Dr. Nishant added some points on digital technology in detail.
Multiple senior officials along with dignitaries attended the event. Awareness camps of similar nature in likely to be conducted through KN Robocare educational society in the upcoming days along with planned screening camps.
The designated team leader of Mohalla clinics, Nimmi Rastogi will be doing the tests free of cost and releasing the results within three days.
Health advisor of government of India, KLRamesh reportedly stated about the various initiative government has taken to get the national institutes for health started in several parts of India.
Another speaker was Bindu Bhushan Dubey who has been an awardee of Make in India and Anvil Bhartiya Pratishtan as president. He paid special attention on the point that environment and health are somehow related and that newer methods of sanitisation are being implemented by them.
