Under its second international deal, Apollo is collaborating with Bahrain Specialist Hospital (BSH) in order to bring its cardiac related services to the residents of Bahrain and further fight heart diseases.

It will be in Bahrain Specialist Hospital wherein the hospital group will operate and manage the new Bahrain Specialist Hospital Apollo Heart Centre.

Apollo joint MD Sangita Reddy reportedly stated that it took about 2 years to negotiate for the heart centre. Identification of the gaps which Apollo could bridge was needed. She further added that a natural back-up for treatments such as transplant, cardiac surgery which needs better attention and care is allowed by the Indian Hospital group’s network.
