Apollo Cancer Hospital will host a three-day International Cancer Conclave at Hyderabad International Convention Cenre (HICC) here from February 3.
Announcing this at a press conference here today, Apollo Cancer Hospital Director Dr P Vijay Anand Reddy along with a team of doctors said that the conclave will bring together the best minds in Oncology both from abroad and India to deliberate on the rapid advances in the fields of surgical, medical, radiation oncology, hematology, robotic surgery and its practical application.
Dr Reddy said that the cancer conclave will also emphasise on discovering newer horizons in Oncology treatment. The renowned faculty from India and abroad will unravel several revelations in techniques and technology. The three day confabulations should appreciably enrich and improve care givers knowledge and ability, he added.
About 2600 delegates will participate in the cancer conclave, Dr Reddy said and added Ms Kavitha, MP will inaugurate the conference on the evening of February 3.
He said a workshop on “Robotic Surgery” will be held on February 2 as a pre-event of the conclave. A Live demonstration also held during the workwhop.
The Apollo Director said a unique panel discussion on ‘Cancer is Conquerable’ with bollywood actress and cancer survivor Manisha Koirala being part of the World Cancer Day on February 4.
Replying to a question, Dr Reddy said the breast is increasing in Metros as compared to rural areas because of their food habits.
