‘Arterial Pulse Analyzer’ and ‘ImmunizeIndia’ win Network India 2015

Ericsson announced the winners of ‘Networked India 2015’ at New Delhi. The two winning projects are: Arterial Pulse Analyzer (low-cost device to diagnose cardiovascular diseases), andImmunizeIndia (World’s largest vaccination reminder service). The winning Projects were given Rs. 5 Lacseach.

The other finalists were winners are, Constapark  (Parking on demand app), WiFi Trash Bin  (Free wifi for people who dispose trash in these bins),  and Helping Faceless  (App to combat child trafficking).Arterial-Pulse-Analyzer

Arterial Pulse Analyzer

The innovation is a low cost arterial pulse analyser which can help clinicians diagnose Cardio-Vascular Diseases (CVDs) cases in a more effective manner as well as automate the process of CVD diagnosis to enable medical camps and mobile medical vans to diagnose CVDs without the need of trained healthcare professionals, especially in a rural setup.

The device is a low cost non-invasive diagnostic instrument with on board analysis being performed on a Mobile phone/tablet.

ImmunizeIndia

It is  a free SMS service to get vaccination reminders for your child.

Constapark

Constapark is parking on demand solution app which lets users pick and drop cars at a tap of button anywhere in the service location.

The company offers verified valets and cover customer car in case of damage at parking or during the transit to the parking lots. It ensures safe parking,  and has its own parking inventory. It employs trained and verified Valet

WiFi Trash Bin  (adopted by MTS)

The WIFI Trash bin gives out a unique passcode for users to access the WiFi network every time they put the trash in the bin. The idea helps in keeping the surroundings clean with the carrot of Free WiFi

Helping Faceless

Helping Faceless is a social initiative to combat child trafficking using state-of-the-art technology. We track vulnerable children and help them back to their homes. We have accumulated data from various sources like- government database and NGOs about missing children along with the lastseen date, gender and location, which works in tandem with our mobile apps and social media presence. Our volunteers post pictures of missing or vulnerable children through these mediums and we provide help to children in both long term and short term with our tie-ups with Social organizations.

The nominations for this initiative were invited from innovators all across the country. Over 140 entries were received across categories.
