More than 50 kids patients suffering from diseases like cancer, thalassemia and kidney and other critical illness tied rakhi to police officials.
Dr Minnie Bodhanwala, CEO Wadia hospital said,” This is the first time hospital has taken such initiative. We protect kids from illness and police safeguards us, so we thought of celebrating this Rakshabandhan festival in a unique way. ”
During this celebration lady PSI of Bhoiwada Police station , Ruchika Sankpal tied rakhi to kid patient(Boy). D.S.Patil, Sr. PI, Bhoiwada police station was also part of this celebration. Wadia hospital distributed Sweets and gifts to all the kids present at the occasion. Kids patients, their parents, nurses of the hospital were also a part of this activity.
