Nawaloka Hospital, one of Sri Lankas largest private hospitals and the first to introduce Intensive Care Units, Coronary Care Units, Laparoscopic Surgery and Thoracic Surgery has invited Dr. K M Cherian, Chairman and CEO of Frontier Lifeline Hospital to set up a heart transplant program centre at Sri Lanka.
Having set benchmarks in patient care with its path breaking work, Nawaloka Hospital has requested Dr. K M Cherian to set up a transplant program in Sri Lanka where the goal to is to provide quality transplantations as done in India and idea of launching Sri Lanka into the ambitious frontier of heart and lung transplant surgery.
