Dr. Hamdulay, who pioneers the technique, controls a group of some of the most talented and highly skilled cardiac surgeons. He has played an important role in advancing the field of minimally invasive cardiac surgery, as well as facilitating instruments. At Global Hospitals, the mission is to provide standard cardiac surgical procedures to the patients in India.

Speaking on the procedure, Dr. Hamdulay (Director & HOD- CVTS)said, “In comparison to the traditional open heart surgeries, this surgery is minimally invasive. This is definitely better because it involves smaller cuts as compared to conventional surgeries, involves lesser pain and lesser scars. In fact, this helps us to send the patients home in a couple of days. The practice use of minimally invasive and beating heart surgery techniques has radically altered our ability to evade transfusion in the majority of our surgical patients. Through assistance, we manage to reach the area with just a tiny incision, the scars of which will disappear with time.”

Speaking on the treatment one of the patients said, “The fear of undergoing a heart surgery itself is an unpleasant feeling. However, through minimal invasive surgery that was performed in my case, I was continuously kept under observation for 4 days after which I totally recovered and needed no extra attention. This new technique has disabled having evident marks and scars from outside. Also, it has helped me to return to my daily routine within less than a week of the surgery.”

ManpreetSohal, Regional CEO, Global Hospitals, said, “It is our continuous endeavor to provide quality tertiary care to our patients. Through such achievements, we aim to raise the benchmark even higher by treating and curing maximum patients. We aim to becomethe dominant spot for cardiac surgeries with the help of our experts and state of the art infrastructure facility and procedures that a lot of other hospitals don’t do. We are majorly focusing on minimal invasive surgeries because it’s beneficial to the patients in terms of faster recovery, less time involved in the surgery, wounds are much smaller so cure faster, and the pain and discomfort post-surgery is much not as much.”
